Although it is written as '감사합니다' (kam-sa ham-nee-da), it is usually pronounced as '감삼니다' (kam-sam nee-da).
A more informal way to say 'thanks' is to shorten it further to '합니다' (ham-nee-da)
'고맙습니다' (ko-map sumnida) is also used but less frequently.
